Introduction

The mushroom wood crusher can cut wood with diameter of 1 to 45 cm and also cut and crush fibrous materials such as bamboo, thatch, straw, mushroom, corn cob, and sorghum stalks. The wood crusher is particularly suitable for processing wood chips in edible mushroom cultivation, and as raw material for the production of high-density boards such as particleboard and sawdust board.

The Structure of Mushroom Wood Crusher

Feed Hopper: This is where the wood material is loaded into the crusher.

Crushing Chamber: The crushing chamber is where the actual wood crushing takes place. It contains a rotor with blades or hammers that spin at high speeds to pulverize the wood material.

Rotor: The rotor is a rotating shaft equipped with blades, hammers, or cutting teeth that impact and crush the wood material against the walls of the crushing chamber.

Screen: Beneath the crushing chamber, there is usually a screen that controls the size of the crushed wood particles. The screen may have different-sized openings to allow for the desired particle size distribution.

Discharge Chute: Once the wood material is crushed to the desired size, it exits the crusher through a discharge chute or opening located at the bottom of the machine. The crushed wood particles can then be collected and transported for further processing or use.

Working Principle of Mushroom Wood Crusher

Feeding: Wood material is loaded into the feed hopper of the crusher either manually or through a conveyor system.

Crushing: The wood material enters the crushing chamber, where it comes into contact with the rotating blades, hammers, or cutting teeth on the rotor. The high-speed rotation of the rotor generates impact forces that crush and pulverize the wood into smaller particles.

Sizing: The crushed wood particles pass through the screen at the bottom of the crushing chamber, where they are sized to the desired particle size distribution. The screen openings determine the final size of the crushed wood material.
