BBQ Charcoal Production Line

Working Process of BBQ Charcoal Production Line
Hopper: Storing Raw Materials

The raw material hopper is used to store raw materials and discharge them consistently and evenly through the vibrating feeder below the hopper. Vibrating feeder helps ensure a consistent flow of raw materials onto the v-belt conveyor which helps maintain consistent production rates.

Choose suitable raw materials for BBQ charcoal production include coal, coal dust, coal fines, charcoal dust, coke dust, lime powder, carbon black, mineral powder. Feed the raw materials into the hopper, the vibrating feeder below the hopper can discharge them consistently and evenly onto the v-belt conveyor to the crusher.
V-Belt Conveyor: Transportation

The purpose of the v-belt conveyor is to move and transport materials at various stages of charcoal production. The v-belt conveyor can be designed different lengths according to needs.
Combination Crusher: Crushing

The combination crusher, also known as vertical crusher, is used to crush and mix materials. It plays a crucial role in BBQ charcoal production by effectively crushing and mixing raw materials to create a uniform blend suitable for forming high-quality charcoal briquettes.
Inside the combination crusher, there is typically two or more rotating shafts with blades or hammers attached to it. These shafts rotate at high speeds, and the blades or hammers impact and crush the incoming materials. It breaks down larger particles into smaller sizes, ensuring uniformity and facilitating better mixing later in the process. Once the materials have been adequately crushed and mixed, they are discharged from the combination crusher onto the belt conveyor to the mixer.
Bind Mixer:

Its purpose is to mix the binder and water into proper proportion according to different charcoal briquette usages that helps to improve the binding properties of the materials, ensuring that the briquettes hold their shape during compression and handling and combustion properties.
In this step, you can prepare the binder ratio in advance to facilitate the next mixing of the binder and raw materials.
Double-Shaft Mixer: Mixing

The double-shaft mixer ensures all the materials subjected to thorough mixing which helps in producing charcoal briquettes with consistent quality, density, and burning characteristics.
Once the materials and binders are loaded into the mixer, the two shafts inside the mixing chamber start rotating. As the shafts rotate, the paddles agitate the materials, causing them to blend together homogeneously. After thoroughly mixing, the mixed coal materials are discharged onto the v-belt conveyor to the roller briquette machine.
Roller Press Briquette Machine: Briquetting
The roller press briquette machine is the core of the BBQ charcoal production line and where the BBQ charcoal is actually formed.
The roller press briquette machine applies pressure to the mixed coal material, compacting it into BBQ charcoal briquettes. The finished products are diverse, including pillow, oval, egg, spherical, cylindrical, square shape. And the shape and size can be customized, the roller press briquette machine can be equipped with different molds to realize. Once BBQ charcoal briquettes are formed, the v-belt conveyor transports them to the drying machine.
Mesh Belt Drying Machine: Drying
Due to the addition of water and binder, the newly formed charcoal briquettes will have relatively large moisture, so they need to be dried to reduce the moisture.
The mesh belt dryer can achieve uniform and efficient drying at relatively low temperatures. This is especially beneficial for various charcoals, as it helps prevent the drying process from being too hot and causing the product to reach the ignition point be degrade or damaged.
After drying, the charcoal briquettes are transported to cooling area to cool which can reduce their temperature and stabilize their structure.
Packaging Machine: Packaging
The cooled briquettes can be packaged by the quantitative packaging machine. The quantitative packaging machine is controlled by a CNC system and can adjust the weight of the packaging.
First set the required packaging weight. When the set weight is exceeded, the machine stops discharging packaging.
