Charcoal Briquette Production Line

Working Process of Charcoal Briquette Production Line
The charcoal briquette production line or charcoal briquetting plant involves several key steps and processes. Raw material selection, crushing and mixing, briquetting, and drying.
Raw Material Selection:

Choose suitable raw materials for charcoal briquette production. Common materials include sawdust, wood shavings, wood chips, other wood waste, bamboo dust, coconut shell, corn stalk, straw, peanut shell and other agricultural residues.
Biomass or wood materials need to carbonize, we can provide carbonization furnace which has fast carbonization, high carbonization rate, no smoke.
Hammer Crusher/Mill: Crushing

The hammer crusher or hammer mill is used to crush carbonized raw materials into smaller pieces by the repeated blows of hammers. The machine has a rotating shaft with hammers mounted on it.
Feed the carbonized raw materials into the hammer crusher, as the rotor of the crusher rotates, the hammers attached to it repeatedly strike the materials. The repeated impacts from the hammers break the materials into smaller pieces.
Once the carbonized raw materials have been sufficiently crushed, they are discharged through the discharge chute in the bottom of the crusher. The crushed materials then are conveyed to the next procedure via a belt conveyor.
Bind Mixer:

Its primary purpose is to mix the binder and water into proper proportion according to different charcoal briquette usages that helps to improve the binding properties of the materials, ensuring that the briquettes hold their shape during compression and handling and combustion properties.
In this step, you can prepare the binder ratio in advance to facilitate the next mixing of the adhesive and raw materials.
Wheel Grinder Mixer: Mixing
The wheel grinder mixer consists of two counter-rotating rollers.
When the mixture binder from the bind mixer and the crushed materials conveyed via the belt convey are fed into the roller mixer, as the rollers of the roller mixer rotate, the pressure exerted by the rollers causes the materials to mix thoroughly with the binder which helps to distribute the binder evenly throughout the crushed raw materials. The rollers also exert a shearing action on the materials to help break down any lumps or clumps, ensuring a uniform mixture. Once the mixing is complete, the mixture is discharged from the roller mixer.
Feeder Machine/Silo: Storing and Discharging

Feeder machine is for storing the mixed materials and discharging them consistently and evenly.
The mixed materials to be pressed temporarily enter the feeder machine. There is a discharge port and a vibrating feeder below the silo. Vibrating feeder helps ensure a consistent flow of mixture through the belt conveyor into the briquette machine. This step is the guarantee of continuous production.
Briquette Machine: Briquetting
The briquette machine is where the charcoal ball briquettes are actually formed and is the core of the entire charcoal briquette production line.
The briquette machine compresses the mixed materials under high pressure into the desired shape, like ball, pillow, oval or egg shape. This briquette machine can be equipped with different molds to produce charcoal ball briquettes of different shapes and sizes.
Once the charcoal ball briquettes are formed, they are conveyed away from the roller press briquette machine via the belt conveyor. The belt conveyor transports the newly formed briquettes to the drying area or further processing, such as packaging and storing.
Each step in the charcoal briquette plant process is essential for producing high-quality charcoal briquettes efficiently.
Features of Charcoal Briquette Production Line
- Integration and Efficiency: The charcoal briquette production line is designed to integrate multiple processes such as crushing, mixing, briquetting into a single streamlined operation. It helps optimize the production process to ensure efficiency and consistency throughout the production process.
- High capacity: This charcoal briquette plant can produce 5 ton charcoal briquettes per hour, which is highliy efficient and can save time and labor.
- Resource Efficiency: Charcoal priquette production line utilize various biomass waste materials, such as sawdust, wood chips, agricultural residues, and coconut shells, which are abundant and often considered waste products. By converting these materials into charcoal briquettes, the production line maximizes resource efficiency and reduces the need for virgin materials. In addition, the raw materials are easy to accessible and cost nothing!
- High Quality Products: Charcoal briquettes produced through this charcoal production line serve as an alternative fuel source to traditional charcoal or fossil fuels like coal. Charcoal briquettes produced from biomass waste typically have lower emissions compared to traditional charcoal or fossil fuels, resulting in cleaner burning and reduced environmental impact. What is more, they are easy to burn and have high heat value, high thermal power, no smoke and no smell.
